Status and future developments¶
Current status¶
Summer cooling has been in production for months, sixteen hours a day. Dehumidifiers are integrated and the system is already connected to photovoltaics: solar production is used to manage dehumidification, optimizing consumption when energy is available. Additionally, ambient humidity control prevents reaching the dew point, protecting the system and the house from condensation and mold.
The thermostats work. The manifold controls the valves. The logic for winter is written and ready to be tested.
There are areas for improvement: communication stability in the presence of interference, calibration of weights and thresholds. But the system is there, it works, and it evolves day by day.
Future developments¶
There are ideas for the future: an app to generate configuration without touching code, a comparative test between centralized and separate logic. But for now, the priority is thermostats and the manifold. The rest will come later, if and when it makes sense.
